Presumably it's connected back to your CU, either the main one, or a separate mini one? These should have an RCB or RCBO dedicated to protecting the EVSE, and that may need resetting. EVSEs generally don't have their own on/off switch, but there can be a RCBO/RCB inside. If so, should be a flap to access it for regular testing etc.
Were you charging at 32A (7kW) ? The first time I did on my EVSE, it ran for 20 mins then cutout, and had to be reset at the CU. I investigated his, and found that RCBs/RCBOs rated at 32A actually derate a bit as they warm up (which is normal behaviour, that's how they work). My car was drawing 31.5A, and after 20 mins the RCB derated to less than this current, and tripped. I swapped it for a 40A version and haven't looked back.
