Made my own Frunk/Froot tray this morning. Not the Euro 200 plus from Frunk.at but just £12.99. A seed tray from my local Garden Center (£5.99), some bolts from B&Q "Pick and Mix" (£2.50) and some Velcro from Amazon £4.50). I chose to attach the tray using two bolts with lock nuts - more secure than just Velcro. Just make sure the bolts are short enough not to foul the Electric Motor. Not bad I thought plus retains the motor cover.

Ah, you found the tray then. You'll find that the tyre repair kit fits in there as well. Also, I bought another tray and put it on upside down and hinged it with duck tape.

Caution - Hyundai won’t like it.... I attached the cable bag to the engine cover with Velcro since it seemed a simple place to keep it, was being held securely and it left the boot for other things. But when I had one of the recalls (BMS ugrade, I think), my modification was noticed and I was told that this was a ‘safety hazard’ and as a result they detached the cable bag and put it back in the boot. I then had a call from the Service Manager to Re-inforce the message that this went against Hyundai’s recommendations and that I could compromise the warranty.... Over-reaction, I think, but you have been warned!

What's the betting that Hyundai introduce their own branded under bonnet storage in the next revision???? :p
I will take that bet.

Hyundai/Kia will not introduce a frunk in any of the ICE converted platforms. Maybe the new IONIQ platform but we will see soon enough for that.
