I've been using this on and off almost since day one of LEAF ownership, like it. Prefer it to the Carwings app in many ways.

Anyone else using it?

If you are, have you paid for the premium features, as I've yet to take the plunge?

This is the one, in case you've yet to discover it: http://www.leaflinkapp.com/

I'm sure I read that Nissan were removing access to the API for third party apps soon?

I heard it was being removed too but no idea on timescales.

I have always used the standard Android Carwings app and found it worked fine for what I needed it for... checking on SOC when charging, starting A/C. I don't use Carwings for anything else at all :)

For SOC on the move I use Leaf Spy (paid version). Now I need to get a proper phone mount so I don't have to pick it up to read it while drive <slap wrist!>

Coincidentally, postie has just delivered two Brodit mounts for my Leaf. I ordered the RHD and LHD ones so I can have two mounts as I have my phone in one and whichever phone or GPS I'm testing in the other. I've used Brodit mounts for years, no holes, no damage to car and a sturdy mount base.

That looks great. Thx for posting the pic.

I am looking at Brodit. David Peilow recommended them to me for the Ampera and so I am thinking about one for each of the cars. The reason I haven't bought yet is I am trying to get used to the price! :(

Silly question perhaps but is the one in the photo RHD or LHD?

How easy are they to fit to the Leaf vent (as in the pic)?

Where did you buy from?

The one in the pic is the RHD one, not fitted mine yet as I'm still awaiting the blummin car :( but I've always found them very easy to fit (and remove when required). Brodit's website shows hoe they are affixed, see http://www.brodit.com/productList.html?lrhandDrive=rhd&brand=Nissan&model=Leaf&year=2013&pn=prod

You'll see they also offer a A-post ProClip (the vehicle specific mount) as well.
The Brodit device specific cradles are expensive but worth every penny. And if you use Brodit's 'MOVE' clips to attach your cradle to your ProClip you can easily move one cradle between two vehicles as required.

Of course you don't have to use Brodit's cradles, but they're well made and fit the devices perfectly.

The UK distributor (no commercial affiliation) is http://www.dsldevelopments.com
