I'm sure I read that Nissan were removing access to the API for third party apps soon?

Coincidentally, postie has just delivered two Brodit mounts for my Leaf. I ordered the RHD and LHD ones so I can have two mounts as I have my phone in one and whichever phone or GPS I'm testing in the other. I've used Brodit mounts for years, no holes, no damage to car and a sturdy mount base.

The one in the pic is the RHD one, not fitted mine yet as I'm still awaiting the blummin car

You'll see they also offer a A-post ProClip (the vehicle specific mount) as well.
The Brodit device specific cradles are expensive but worth every penny. And if you use Brodit's 'MOVE' clips to attach your cradle to your ProClip you can easily move one cradle between two vehicles as required.
Of course you don't have to use Brodit's cradles, but they're well made and fit the devices perfectly.
