Hi, has anyone experienced a lockout from a 2018 eGolf?

Just happened to me yesterday after driving it the night before and leaving it on my driveway (not charging). I've tried two key fobs and neither one can get the car to unlock or even get the lights flashing on pressing buttons. Can't get in through the hatch and I've tried manually unlocking the driver's side door, but I didn't get the sense that the lock was engaging (the key did turn).

Wondering if this is a security feature that has somehow tripped ... of course the Owner's Manual is in the car ... and the charging cable is also in the car so I can't try to charge it right now ...

Any thoughts from users ... appreciate it!

Thanks all ... problem solved, although I feel like an idiot ... apparently, if you change batteries in your key fobs at the same time, there is a chance that both batteries die at the same time too ... ... figured it out after noticing that the LEDs on the fobs weren't showing when I was pushing buttons ...
