Map update "Cartography (9.0.0-r0)"

Anyone managed to get the dedicated app to download the latest map?

There is a notification in the MyVauxhall app that says there is a new update and to download the app to your PC/Mac. Once the app is downloaded you enter your VIN and select the vehicle. You then either accept the default download location or choose a different one. You then start the download which should take some time depending on your broadband speed as the file is humongous.

Unfortunately, each time I start the download it stops immediately with the message:

142091

I checked the information in Terminal and it appears that there is a security certificate mismatch going on behind the scenes. Typical crappy PSA group software engineering and quality control. I have tried using both the Vauxhall and almost identical Opel downloader with the same result.

Does anyone have the direct URL for downloading the update? They have dumbed down the app to download the software and then format your USB stick and then load it on to the USB stick. Nothing that can't be dome manually as was previously.

Anyone managed to actually use the app to perform the latest map update?

Thanks for that @b789pilot.

I connected my phone for Android Auto this morning (no problems) just in case I needed tomorrow to get to the hospital. I tried the sat nav again afterwards and it worked (who knows why?). It's really cool to have the route repeated right in front of you.

I managed to download it fully and transferred to the usb. When it stops downloading showing that ridiculous amount of hours I just tap on the app again it’s kind of refreshes the page and starts from frozen point. Then I closed old downloading window and I had to do it about 5 times and then it started showing reasonable numbers such as 65 min remaining and counted down took about 2-3 hours and 1 hour to transfer onto sub. Now I’m sitting in the car inserted usb in to port followed all instructions. Sitting for 1 hour now it says do not switch off the ignition or withdraw the usb memory stick. Let’s see how good my patience is.

Did you download v9 or v11?
I downloaded and installed v9 months ago (app still telling me it’s available!) but when speaking to someone at, I presume, Stellantis, the guy told me that v11 was showing as available for my e-208 and to download it via the PC App (actually Mac in my case) Which I did and installed to car. Usual shitty download and install speeds though.
