What do we think? From £35K with over 40 mile range. Almost as much as the Ampera/Volt developed in 2010 ;) The ability to rapid charge on CCS will so annoy the growing camp of entitled BEV drivers 😬

They started off so well with the original B250e. Why could they just have given that a minor facelift, bigger battery and some rapid charge support? I’d be far more excited about that than a PHEV.

Also, I Really want to know who decided it was a good idea to add rapid charging to PHEVs. I’d love to meet (and subsequently punch) them. The outlander was bad but at least it stopped at 80% and could be unplugged thanks to Chademo when inconsiderate drivers would plug in and walk off for hours. But with CCS we aren’t so lucky.

Hopefully the rapid charging will mean owners will drive more on electric. I certainly would have if Ampera had been rapid capable as stopping for a coffee and 20 min charge would have been fine. Almost all networks have overstay fees so they will not overstay more than once!

just another joke electric vehicle so the legacy car manufactures can continue churning out internal combustion engines and indeed another Mercedes with a Renault engine.
