I think before anyone gets too excited this has been announced on mgmotor.eu not mg.co.uk, even though the UK dealerships as listed on the .eu site under the find a store section, they are two separate businesses, SAIC Motor Europe B.V. and MG Motor (UK). I'm sure @Miles Roberts could provide a little more clarity on that if needed (maybe a future subject for an MGEVs podcast )

They'll be coming to the UK eventually, but since China is LHD, the car is all ready to come to Mainland Europe. RHD may take a few more months to get sorted.

No news from MG Motors UK (yet).

I was thinking the same thing. The Marvel in Red would be nice. Can the dealer also switch over my MG plates for me.

Also MG5 has a roof load of 75Kg so looks like MG have sorted that out now

That's because of the twin rear mounted motor's, (rear wheel drive not front)!

All nice upgrades for the MG5 if the price is kept low, but...

It is still all different shades of ugly and bland.

The front end needed attention but now it just looks like 90's Proton.

The ride height and wheels still just make it look really awkward. I don't think they can do much about it with this GM platform. Shame.

Despite that, if they add remote timed charging and heating It would still my my Ioniq replacement shortlist.
