Picked up today, all a bit odd with the no walk through like I remember from over a decade ago, so sat on forecourt in car getting things sorted.
Higher seating than old A3 sportback, adjustment is good on steering wheel and with instruments moving good. Moans about light switch from other reviews, no idea as very visible in my driving position anyway. Seat is comfortable and feels like will be a good friend on long drives.
Delicate drive out of dealership as seemed to be a busy with comings/goings of cars.
First 50 miles of motorway without the assists and driving at old car speeds of 70. Hit some 60 roadworks popped the cruise on and the distance keeping was very relaxing.
On motorway the lane centre warning is fine, after 140 mile of motorway, on side roads the centre warning did seem to be a bit fussier, joy of narrow UK roads. The lane correction steering is less intrusive than a kia I had as a rental a couple of years ago.
On bumpy roads ride is good, better than A3 in terms of composure. Need to watch the right foot in 30 and 40 areas as seems keen to go.
Started with full saying 210 mile range and did 160 miles, charge warning came on at 55 miles left. A bit of wandering for a CCS that was busy so back home on 40 miles - awaiting delivery of a granny charger.
Phone is full of charging apps now.
Going to take time to work through the various options, so odd view of person sat in car on drive for next couple of days.
3.2 miles/kwh which seems good for not bothering to try and eek out charge on motorway, plus only 7 degrees out.
If showing off new toy to friends, recommend dark/dusk as the light show car puts on is good.
