I was flicking through the manual for my shiny new GTE, and found this interesting gem:
Frost_Min_Charge.png

My guess is they say this to make sure that the HV battery can start the ICE when everything really cold. So by the letter of the law, it looks like my "Minimum charge level" in the e-Manager should be set to 40% in winter, which is a pretty big reduction in how much I can enjoy my off peak electricity rate. The engineer in me is thinking that they've massively sandbagged this number to cover themselves and the real need is much lower than this, but that's based on nothing other than being an engineer that has massively sandbagged numbers for datasheets and instruction manuals to cover myself.

So, has anybody experienced problems with their GTE in the cold when the HV battery level gets a bit low?
