Recently purchased a used Model 3 Performance with FSD from a BMW garage which was registered in September last year. I've noticed that the connectivity is working. I would have expected that I would have needed to subscribe. Was/is there a possibility that it could have permanent connectivity, or should I expect it to disappear in a few days?

My understanding is that when the order books were opened for the 3 that it mentioned 'premium Connectivity' without a time limit. It was subsequently changed to 1 year free trial for the 3 Performance and then an owner would need to subscribe. Your's may have been an early order that included the Premium Connectivity and recently Tesla has honoured these early orders and reinstated Premium Connectivity. I don't know how it will stand with you not being the original owner but keep your fingers crossed that it stays.

On change of owner I believe it should give you 30 day trial. You should be able to clarify by going to the tesla website or within the car on the car details to see if it just says it is included or whether there is a date.

It says included, so I’ll assume it’s permanent. That’s a saving of £120/year over my expectations.

It may be, Tesla were forced to go back and honour the sales agreement on a bunch of cars which were ordered between a specific window.

Either way you can check yourself
