Not top of my wish list but remember it being promoted in the ads.
Is it fitted to the 2020 Soul EV and how do you activate it?
Couldn't see an icon for it as I had a fiddle today.
Any help gratefully received.

Thats an easy question. The UK Souls dont have any mood lighting. Cant say I am concerned. You can change the colour of the ring around the drive wheel though if you like, its in the dash screen somewhere.

Further checking - appears it isn't fitted.
A bit disappointed despite not really wanting or needing it!

I never really understood what it did, but to be fair I was in a better mood in the Soul than in the Zoe now! ...... maybe that was it!

(The Zoe has made me appreciate what a good car the Soul was, and the Soul made me appreciate what a good car the Ampera was. But at the end of the day I also appreciate a nice big battery range.)

I've got it on my 2018 Soul EV. After trying it, it has remained switched off. You are missing nothing, believe me.

I had it on the 2016 Soul. Waste of time. It was supposed to respond to music but it had to be at ear splitting volume and all it did was slightly change colour a bit. Definitely a gimmick.

It's ' a thing' but it is related to volume levels. Fine when I'm by myself but when better half is in the car we never have the music that loud 😁

Gotta love Bjorn!! He's brilliant.
Funnily enough reading my manual for the 2018 model tonight apparently the intensity of the light can be changed by pressing the mood light button - I will be trying this tomorrow.
Certainly new Soul's dico lights do look pretty damn cool - party on!!

Each to their own. They look horrible to me. I am 52 years old. I have no interest in driving around in a mobile disco.

Don't get me wrong, I like my music loud where appropriate and often sound like a chav driving past. Just not interested in looking like one as well. :sneaky:

In the GTE, the mood light was more practical (foot wells and door sills) and very subtle. Used to like it. A lot.

Pulsing with the music and changing colour, might be too much for me, or maybe I'm also getting too old.
