I am trying to make sense of the figures on the offer from my dealer.
Does not seem to add up the compared to the brochure price.
Looks £2500-£3000 less that the book price

I know the figures quoted do not include VAT but it still looks low.
I think the £2500 discount is just the PIGC grant without VAT
Can anyone shed some light or make sense of this?

LOL, I think you are right.
I added up the pre vat prices (31275+529.17-2500)=29304.17
Then added the vat plus any non vat items (29304.17*1.2)+55=35220.004

The offer price you got has the grant deducted twice. Quick sign it!

Price list just downloaded dated 29/10/2020 states OTR exc grant £41,220, (£38220 inc grant).
Then take a further £3000 off = £35220 which matches the order form exactly (all excluding options).

Good choices on the options ;)

The £2,500 nets up to £3,000 so I guess that you are correct, but it is a strange way to do it. Is this just not the difference in price?

I think you are right in that this figures look too low - at least according to teh price list I downloaded. That has a MAX without options as £41,200 before PICG and £38,200 with grant. Main issue seems to be they are quoting £31,275 compared to £33,775 on the price list.

The (£529 + VAT) + £55 registration = £690 OTR cost in the brochure.

Yes, the £124-17+VAT is unaccounted for on the price list, but when you look at the bottom line of £37,858 and assuming they are not stiching you up on P/X, if they will honour this price and you want a MAX this looks like a good deal!

That was exactly my thinking from the brochure I have the max is :£41220 OTR Price - £3000 PICG = £38220 without any options

The offer l have ooks like £37858 - £2190 (options) = £35668 without options which is £2522 less that the price shown in the brochure. - worried this is a mistake by the dealer as no discounts are listed unless the £2500 adjustment is a discount and not PICG?

Any thoughts?

Have you tried using the configurator on the VW website rather than the price list? Obvs should be identical, but the configurator was not giving pricing a few days ago and has now been 'updated' - maybe the price list is out of date?

Yes from the configuratorI get £40410 with all of my options and £38200 for the base spec (both OTR and include the £3000 PICG)- which ties in with the brochure

Glad its not just me that can't make sense of the offer
