Has anyone had any problems with this 'Collect & Return' service for servicing, warranty or repair work?
Reason I ask is that I live over 60 miles from my nearest Ampera dealership but currently work just over 10 miles from them.
I remember various promises by Vauxhall when I bought my VX220 about the level of service I should receive but that did not seem to filter down to the dealership, it was in 2001 so hopefully things will have improved by now.

I've had free collection for servicing, but it's often on their terms.

For the last bit of warranty work, at first they tried to claim that it was my responsibility to flat bed it to them.

I have had the offer made by my dealer without me asking but it has always been more convenient for me to take it there myself.

Just to add a Chevvy dimension...

My Volt was supplied by the Cambridge dealer and they have collected from Basingstoke (and left a loan car) twice, once for an engine warning light problem and once for a service. They seem very happy to do that.
