Hi,
A question about buying an Ampera, I noticed on Vauxhall's main site that the Ampera isn't included in any of the Vauxhall finance deals. I contacted Vauxhall and they said I would have to go to my Ampera specialist (Wimbledon). Were you able to get a finance package? I was hoping to get a PCP with about £2000 down as deposit, the government grant and about 5% Vauxhall Partners either that or the 5 year 0% deal. Is this realistic or possible? Is it similar to what you have done? What sort of monthly payments are you looking at (sorry for all the questions).

I don't know about the finance options, as mine is a company car which we are paying cash for. Sorry. I think that Derek did his on a quasi pcp deal, and I think he put the details in one of his earlier posts if you have a search.

Thanks Lee, I found Derek's posts and it looks quite hopeful for a PCP or similar.

I also found some references to a 3 day test drive which seemed quite disappointing. I think the idea of the car is great but maybe its not quite the finished package?
The bag thingy between the back seats is an extra and it doesn't with the rear centre armrest ? The rear parcel shelf trampoline thingy, Im starting to sway back towards plan A and the Leaf.

Thanks for that. I did have a test drive sorted for today but the garage phoned to say they didn't have a car available and were waiting for a new one to be registered.

That's a bit hopeless ! Where abouts in the country are you ?

In Surrey, so the nearest garage is Wimbledon
