Hi
I'm just about to order a Kia e nero, and thought it best to
sort out a home charger first.
I've had great difficulty in actually getting anyone out to give a quote, all want photos, site plans and all sorts , Not sure our fit will be straightforward, so would like a home visit, does anyone know a firm in the Nottingham area who would actually visit and quote.
Thanks for any info

I had to send photos of where the charger would be installed, and of my consumer unit. They wanted to know the distance (for length of cable) between consumer unit and charger point. I sent them the info (all emailed), and there was a discussion by email in which I had to send a couple more photos.
Why not just send what you think they've asked for, and see what they say? They might ask for more details; it can't do any harm.

PS they were Mcnally EV specialists and operate nationwide.

Thanks for the reply
It's just my consumer unit etc are under the stairs, no outside walls any where near it, and I can see several ways it may be possible to route the cable some of it maybe even channeled into the wall, just can't understand why non of the places will visit,
I can get quotes and visits for so many other things but not this.

It is all down to cost - if they can quote accurately from photos they save themselves the cost of a site visit.

Is your meter with your consumer unit under the stairs? What type of floors do you have (eg concrete or floorboards with void space underneath)? What floor coverings do you have (carpet / laminate / etc)?
