If you're looking to order a new Model 3 shortly, you might want to hold off a little (if you can).

There are a few updates in the pipeline, mainly cosmetic:
  • Chrome delete
  • New centre console without shiny plastic.
  • Rumours of powered boot (like Model Y) and heat pump. However these aren't confirmed yet.

They had me at 'chrome delete'...

I am going to keep my Model 3 for some time yet.... may change when there is a bit leap forwards once the Berlin Giga factory is producing our RHD models. :)

Good call. Extra range with the 4680 cells, maybe?
Elon has already confirmed that the Berlin Giga produced cars will use their latest techniques like the single Giga single press for the bodies, 4680 cells and the latest paint shops for paint etc.

I am hoping for better build quality and QC.
Better paint finish with different colours etc.
FSD / HW4 system
probably a 400 mile range using the 4680 cells, maybe even a 100kW pack.

Guess will have to wait and see.
It is one of the reasons I didn't buy the FSD package now as I knew I would most likely replace it when Tesla significantly upgrade the Model 3 / Y. :)

About a year from now when Europe gets these updates, I believe we are a year behind from whatever updates Fremont do anyway. And about a year from now for Berlin deliveries. Add a bit more time again for RHD models.

UK might get RHD Tesla 3 made in China before Berlin - could be better build quality too? 🤷‍♀️

Certainly tempting to wait if you can...

More likely extra 5% from the 2170 cells as detailed by panasonic in the summer
