Encouraging news, but let's not get excited until it's available in mass-market EVs.
Let's explore how they'd charge an EV with a 400km range in 10 minutes with basic maths: 400km in 10 minutes is 2400km/hr charging speed. Let's assume an optomistic WLTP efficiency of 7km per kWh. We'd need 57kWh of battery. To charge that in 10 minutes, the charger would need to average about 350kW including losses. Not exactly common, but they do exist.
We'll have to wait 5-10 years to see what happens with this and countless other 'breakthroughs'...
