I am sure that you won't, although early MY20 have a battery recall hopefully yours will escape that.

aaii, is that an official recall? would I be entitled to this even if the car was not bought from a VW dealer?

In the UK VW dealership tends to pick up on this (if applicable) when car booked in for service. Presumably you will be taking your Passat to VW dealer for service to maintain manufacturer warranty due to vehicle complexity?
