Hi all

just received a 2021 new van a few weeks ago the 12 V battery warning light is now on we haven't even drove it yet as it's been sat on the drive as we are self isolating.
My question is, if we switch on the ignition and it's in ready mode will it charge the 12 V battery as we have a full charge on the main battery.

If the van starts and goes ready (Green van with arrows underneath it on the main dashboard) then yes it'll charge the 12v battery.
Remember that you have to press the brake pedal while pressing the start/stop button to start the van.

If you press the start/stop button without your foot on the brake it will put the van in accessory mode (like turning the key to the first stop in an old petrol car so you could listen to the radio). In accessory mode the 12v battery will not charge and you'll have the 12v warning light lit.

I hope that makes sense.
