The Nissan Dealership I used ( West London Motor Group ) didn't have a clue. I test drove the Leaf twice and both times never a follow up call, no one chasing me to make a decision. I had to keep going back to the dealer almost demanding that they sell me a Leaf, very poor sales!

How they were ever going to attract someone on the fence or not actually aware of electric cars is a complete mystery. May be no incentive to the sales guys but very poor.

Also despite having a Leaf specialist I seem to know way more than the sales guy, he didn't know about B mode or what that really did, charging the car seem to be a bit of a vague area also.

So not a great experience but hey this cars are new and I guess they hadn't fully done their homework!

Totally opposite to Ian with regards sales AND service at Glyn Hopkins Milton Keynes, absolutely top notch. I was worried having only really dealt with BMW and MINI dealerships for new cars and found them brilliant, Nissan so far have been very good. :)

in reality all current salesmen are just following a script, if you are lucky you will find one who read-up a bit. However, I don't think you will find one ht has any serious experience. I suggest that chat rooms are a good place to ask your questions. Not all answers will be consistent - but at least you will have something to weight and balance.
A good place to start is answered the question 'Why an EV' : are you keen on the environmental benefits - is it the technology -,is it the fun to drive - or is it to reduce motoring costa?
