Not many have noticed Nissan's presentation of their new Ariya assembly line.

Very high levels of automation are shown, almost no people in the factory.
This is much more advanced than Tesla or Volkswagen.

Have you a figure of how many man hours per car for the Intelligent factory ?

VW are about 30 man hours prr car, Tesla are 10 man hours per car.

Volkswagen CEO Herbert Diess spoke to workers this week in Germany, sounding a bit worried as he recounted Tesla's 10 hour production time. Will VW ever be able to keep up with the EV maker?

Almost no parts either otherwise you'd be able to buy an Ariya in the UK now!

Shame the cars are not as advanced coming out of there.
