Should probably have asked this BEFORE I dropped the LEAF in this
morning, but what should I expect (paperwork, tests, reports and such) from a first service for a Nissan LEAF? Battery health check report? Anything else more or less than a regular service?

Been a while since I've had any new car serviced, and never an electric one!

No MOT as it's only a baby car.

Did discover I need two new tyres. At 8.5k miles.

Ouch.

Wondering what to do on the tyre front. The standard tyres have always felt a bit slippy sideways, but obviously designed for economy... Might start a new discussion for tips on that front.

And to answer the above, near side is taking more of a beating... So yeah, roundabouts.

I noticed when browsing the handbook (yeh- sad, I know!) that is recommends rotating the wheels every 6,000 miles.

Oops. I was going to do just that a couple of months back but totally forgot.

I do cane my Leaf through some corners (if appropriate) but 90% of my time is spent in the cruise, so our comparative tyre wear makes sense.

What tyres are you running? Are they made out of gummy bears?

The ones it comes with Michelin Energy something or other.

With the LEAF flex I had no such luxury if that's the case!

5+ mm left on all tyres, unlike Paul I keep all four wheels on the road when cornering.

I just called Nissan Milton Keynes, they quoted £120 but would match the quote I had from Nissan Aylesbury of £95

WHA! I want a super discount next time, cheeky so-and-sos.
