Robert Llewellyn has had his LEAF since 2011 - it was an import from Japan and an original press vehicle.

Now he is going to replace the battery with a 40Kwh.

Good watch and testament to the reliability of the LEAF.

i read an article about this
he said the battery range dropped significantly, but then went onto say, leaves it plugged in, and charges to 100% all the time, they both dont help, otherwise it would have less degradation ?

If I remember correctly, he said he only did that for about four years until he realised it wasn’t good for the battery. Still he’s only lost two bars, which isn’t bad for a 10 year old car. Can’t wait to see the video of the battery upgrade. He would have done it by now if it wasn’t for Lockdown.

i just watched it, and he would drive to the shop and back, and plug it in again, say from 97% every time, which killed the battery quicker, nothing to do with CHAD charging

40 kwh ready and waiting ! which should be good!
