Does it try and update then say update failed? Or is it just not trying to update?

There is a memory corruption issue with the MCU1 cars that there is a recall for. Check to see if it's had that.

It updated one revision up (to 2022.8.10.6) yesterday, and now again showing software is up to date. It basically searches for update and then says it is up to date (like on a screenshot above).

If there is later software and your car isn't finding it then I'd probably contact tesla service. They may just be able to give it kick in the pants to get it to find it.

Soft scroll wheel reset is also worth a try.

MCU1 cars are on a much slower rollout of updates these days. You're on the latest build for our cars.

If you want the newer features you'll have to pay for the MCU2 upgrade. I doubt there will be much more coming for MCU1 now - if there is it'll be a long way behind.

Thanks, that explains why i'm not getting any updates then... Going to update to MCU2 anyway as MCU1 is quite unusable.
