Well I searched on eBay and 5 Rolec charge points were on there as well as the chargemaster edf one that was highlighter on here earlier.

Can't olev just set up a search alert? They can just switch into reactive mode then.

I suppose all they need to do is monitor what electric meters have been turned off. Or monitor strange usage patterns if they are turned on. Like removing the charge station and installing a outdoor socket in its place.

Using 500Wh every Saturday when you cut the grass for example....

Most of the units on eBay are Rolec chargers that have a separate comms module/meter and these are not included. If the comms meter is left in place OLEV would get regular messages saying that the charger was still installed and operating, even if it was not!
