Took Zoe to Bristol Street Motors on Monday 6 August to sort the parking brake recall and have 3rd year service and MOT. ZOE which we bought out of a 2 year PCP last year and now has done 8913 miles. Service cost £78 and MOT £45. Recall work supposed to take 4 days but got call late afternoon on Wednesday that car was ready and did we want an air con clean for £29? Whilst ZOE was at BSM we had a Clio as the courtesy car, manual, as they said did not have an auto which we had requested. Declined to pay the £20 CDW as letter from Renault says that would be free of charge and also got the full tank of fuel. Overall the excercise was pretty painless.

PS No mention made of replacing the 12v battery - will have to see if it lasts as long as the original battery in my 12 year old Jaguar X Type which I had to replace last month.

Thanks - I had a look and it seems my VIN is in the range quoted but when I do a search by number plate nothing comes up.

Couldn’t see a search by VIN on the VOSA site, only by number plate.
