Passenger Detection / Seat Belt Warning

Does anyone know if there is a way to turn the seat belt alarm off? I've been driving around with my parents in the ID.4 and my father likes to rest his hand on the middle seat. Problem is, the car thinks there is someone in that seat and gives a rather annoying alarm that "they" aren't wearing a seatbelt... I know I can just plug the seatbelt in, but I'm wondering if there is a way to turn the alarm off completely?

Just fasten the middle seat belt. He can still put his hand on the middle seat. Alternatively put down the armrest for him to rest on?

Or a dummy buckle just to plug in? I reckon your pops would probably like an arm rest though 😄
I have a similar problem with my model Y. My son regularly lies down and falls asleep on the armrest. The car assumes no rear occupants, so it cuts out the A/C or beeps when he puts his hand on the middle seat. The seat belt trick didn't help; I made him use the front passenger seat with the Airbags off.
