So the e-Niro4’s in for a new heater and after a lot of agg with Kia Contract Hire / ALD, Kia GB sorted us a hire car for the week they reckon they need it for.

They’ve loaned us a PHEV Niro. God it’s slow!

Is there anything other than eco mode without shifting the gear shift across?

Can’t find a Drive Select Button or similar.

No, either Eco or Sport, there is no "Normal" mode. I use Eco most of the time and only use Sport mode if I need to get past someone quickly or if I'm driving on twisty hilly roads. Eco is too slow to respond in those circumstances.

You can also select between EV mode (default), HEV and "Auto" using the button by the gear lever. In EV mode it is quite slow to take off and is slow to start the ICE to give it more power, but if you put it in HEV mode it is somewhat more responsive. I've never quite figured out what "Auto" does exactly, but it seems to be somewhere in between EV and HEV.
