Anyone got any clues to this one please. I have recently realised, when I wanted to make a call in the car, that I had no contacts, even though phone is connected successfully via bluetooth. Went into contact page in the phone option and clicked download and it failed. I have no call history or message history either.

Why won't it pull anything down from the phone - any clues welcome.

Thanks

Same as @finchlean . Also, voice commands handle the names... Okish

What is your phone? How about delete in car and in phone, and connect again?

It's a Galaxy A70.

I tried disconnecting in the car but not the phone as well. I'll try that next time I get in. Thanks.

I am sure they were there previously. Hoping it's not an issue with the firmware update.

In my e-Niro, the contacts occasionally don't download. Go to Bluetooth settings on your phone and find Kia Motors in devices. Click the Cog icon next to Kia Motors. Sometimes I find the Contact Sharing slider switched off!

Hi. None of the fixes stated in this discussion helped in my e-Niro. I have Samsung S8. I have recent calls list correct but the car doesn't recognize contacts (and neither will voice command). I have all the sliders active in bluetooth settings and I have reconnected several times. This is annoying because if I'd like to call somebody I have to tap it from the phone while driving. There was a time it knew all my contacts but not anymore.

In what app on the phone are your contacts stored?

I have the same problem with an e-Niro 2 connecting to a Samsung s7. It will download the contacts (and call history) fine once, but then stops working and I can only get it working again by repairing it.

The same phone worked flawlessly with my previous car (citroen C4).

What on earth is going on here?
