I really like the idea of 3 phase charging, although with a leaf, I can't. A 3 phase charging post that can do 22kW would be as cheap as chips, and the charger technology in the car will just get cheaper and cheaper as the volume increases. There should be minimal compatibility issues with different cars, and the reliability should be high. Almost all premises have 3 phase (except residential, but that could be mandated on new build.

A lovely young lady did the handover on my Leaf. She hadn't got a clue. The solar panels on the spoiler meant that I don't have to spend so long charging the car, apparently. I ended up teaching her about the Leaf.
