After numerous promises and some fibbing, Pod Point are rolling out their charge scheduling update as a "beta" test for people that signed up a few months ago.
They have emailed anyone that was signed up for their Pod Point Labs thing today.
About bloody time! When I bought mine I was told over the phone that it already had the feature, and they've been promising it as "soon" since at least 2018. Here's hoping the update also offers (any) smart features like smart charging for variable rate tariffs, etc. Something as good as Ohme is highly unlikely though.
When it's available it'll make the Pod Point solo a bit more attractive again to potential buyers.
