Hi all,

First post here. I’ve recently bought a 330e which I’m really pleased with. I’ve had a Pod-Point 7kW tethered charge point installed in my garage and also use the BMW Digital Charging Service to set up pre-conditioning. Both of these tell me how many kWh of electricity I have used while charging at home- however the figures are significantly different. How can I tell which one is right? I have already seen that the costs generated in the Pod-Point app fluctuate wildly to say the least but I expected the amount of electricity used to be right in both services.

I ditched the BMW Digital Charging Service after the free 12 months as I found it to be inaccurate. The 330e battery capacity is between 7 and 8 kWh but on more than one occasion it recorded the energy charged as over 10kWh.
