Hi, Any advice would be appreciated before i agree to a new company car.

My new company car will be an EV and the company via the grant will supply a pod-point charger.

I live in an old terrace house with parking at the front. My fuse box is in the kitchen at the back of the house. It is an easy task to run the cable through the front wall into the crawl space under the floor and pop up under the fuse box in the pantry. Less than the 15mtr of cable restriction.

Pod point specifically say they will not work in crawl spaces! Has anyone had an install similar to this and did you have to pull the cable through yourself during the installation or did they just charge more for the install.

You could offer to pre run the cable if the installers are happy with that or run a draw rope for the installer to use, the 'standard installation' T&C do suggest that they can run cable under the floor is a draw cord is provided. How willing they actually are probably varies.
