Black magic or the lights stay red for too long in Germany, but it seems that unless I hit the motorway (i.e. 55-60mph) for 20-25 minutes, my R240 can't get the average speed over 25 mph (!). However, I see that many Q210 drivers in the Club 100 thread post insane average speeds (42 mph).

I noticed that if I stay at the red lights, with the car switched on, that idle time at 0mph still counts towards the average speed. Is this the same in a Q210?

It's probably got something to do with Q210 drivers being more inclined to long trips with the backup of full rapid charging. Most of my 100+ trips have been 100+ in 1 go, and not pootling around town for a week, they usually involve at least 50mile trip away from home and back again the same day which results in a higher speed as your moving at a more constant speed.
