Hi all,

I am an international student in Edinburgh and I have just finished my studies. Due to an unforeseen circumstance at home, I have to leave soon and wish to sell my 16 plate Renault Zoe. However, because the battery is leased, a lot of car dealership is not interested. I am kind of in a mad rush and I would appreciate any help and/or advice! Thank you all very much!

If it’s the right price, good condition and still in warranty it will sell.

Have you tried some of the specialist dealers that advertise in here?

Just sold mine to Drive Green - all forms done in advance and very efficient service.

Thank you for your reply. I’ve contacted them but unfortunately, they said it is too cost inefficient to get the car from Edinburgh down to them.

it will be very hard for me because I am trying to sort out everything else since I am leaving. If there is any alternative arrangement such as arranging delivery to them etc, it might be a viable option. I am still in touch with them, so it depends on their reply.

This is the problem with Zoes in Scotland.

I can recommend a vehicle transport service that will take it down to a dealer for you for not too much money.

It looks like you’re asking for a realistic price.

@obk1986 it looks too cheap to me. I know you’re in a rush but up the price. You can always come down to secure a deal. Start at £7500 maybe even £8k.

Thank you for your reply. May I have the details of the vehicle transport service? I am assuming that you are suggesting that I offer to the dealership that I send the vehicle to them for the sale. Is this a right assumption?
