I've just parked up, turned off the motor and got out but the radio didn't turn off. No matter what I press I can't get the radio to turn off, even walking away and locking the cat doesn't work.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? It's infuriating!!

Hate to suggest a factory reset as there might be other better suggestions...

I tried that to no avail, in the end it went off on its own. I'm worried to turn it back on now

It seems l like an R-link problem. It sometimes has trouble switching off. Does the dashboard screen also remain on? Rebooting the R-link by pressing the home button 5 times in a row could fix it.

The same happened to me the first day after I picked up my Zoe 22kWh in 2016.
It went off after a short while and the problem didn’t come back during the 2 years I had the car.

Then a couple of weeks ago it happened in my ZE40, the first time in the almost 2 years I’ve had it.

I wouldn’t worry about it happening again.

I did wonder if it might have been a small over the air update going on causing the system to stay on,
but it’s just a theory.

I've just had to do the "pressing the home button 5 times " reset as my R-Link wouldn't find either of our phones. Worked fine after that.
