There is a recall (called product enhancement) for HV Fuse. Mine (2018 model) just got replaced when 12V battery went flat.
The technician told me it is replaced as part of Service (not like a typical recall).

I can't even imagine any way it could be related to the 12V battery, but stranger things have happened...
The documented fuse is 600A.
Are there "2018" models of the Kona or is that just the year of the build date?

I doubt HV Fuse has any impact on 12v battery charging. But no, they didn't say what issues it may cause. I asked but they couldn't explain (I think they only had part number needed to be replaced).
6 months ago my aircon stopped working (blown fuse which they replaced) but I doubt it has anything to do with the recent recall.
My Kona was built in 2018 (delivered in October) - I only mentioned that as this recall may potentially affect cars from similar batch / time period.

When mine was in last month to have the 12V battery checked, they confirmed that the HV fuse box replacement is for 2018 cars and didn't affect mine (April 2019 delivered, start of March manufacture).
