Hello I am looking for some advise. Corrosion and peeling on my rims is pretty bad, so thinking of getting them refurbished.

Anyone refurbished their Tekna wheels? If so, how did it go? Did you go for a single colour or picked a diamond cut finish? If you picked a single colour what did you pick and do you regret it now? :)

Prices I have been quoted is £70 per alloy for a single colour and £120 for diamond cut for each rim.

Thanks

Hello thanks for everyone comments.

Looks like the best way ahead for refurbishing my rims is a solid colour. To workout which colour to pick, over to our AI overlord ChatGPT:

  1. The best rim color for a white Nissan Leaf will depend on personal preference and the overall look you are going for. However, here are some popular options that can complement a white Nissan Leaf:
    1. Silver: Silver rims are a classic choice that can give your car a sleek and sophisticated look. They also blend well with the white color of your car and give it a subtle yet attractive contrast.
    2. Black: Black rims are a bold and modern choice that can give your car a sporty and aggressive look. They can also provide a striking contrast to the white color of your car, making it stand out even more.
    3. Gunmetal: Gunmetal rims are a dark gray color that can give your car a more subtle and sophisticated look than black rims. They can provide a nice contrast to the white color of your car without being too bold.
  2. Ultimately, the best rim color for your white Nissan Leaf will depend on your personal style and preferences. Consider your overall desired look and the type of driving you will be doing before making a decision.
Honestly these are the colours I was looking at. I like the AI's description of option 3. Time to see if I can get a better quote for gunmetal rims :)
