Euro NCAP have started crash testing heavy quadracycles. The Twizy 80 scored 6 and 7 out of 16. The 80 is the only version sold in the UK.

Other quads did not do as well as Twizy. In the 50kph(30mph) front impact test, the seatbelt broke in the Tazzari Zero, resulting in an injury that was probably fatal :yikes:

So although the Twizy isn't great it it was the best of the bunch including the fully enclosed models. The test Twizy didn't have doors. Even so still a great deal better than a motorbike or an open Quad.
