Hi All,
While I wait for my ID.3 to be built I've been playing spot the ID.3 out on the roads and so far, in the last couple of weeks, the tally stands at 2. One in Black Park car park and a fleeting glimpse in High Wycombe, none on my travels last weekend to the Peak District.
In that same time I've seen more Maclaren, Ferrari, Aston Martin etc supercars. Plus innumerable other EV.
I have also seen many more stupid Toyotas as I have termed the CHR that I'll have for a couple of months when I hand back my Golf GTD.
I'm looking forward to joining what seems to be a very exclusive club 😆. I'll see you on the roads from mid July, actually, I probably won't.

I want to say it was silver but I can't really remember. The one in Peterborough was definitely the flat grey colour.If it was black, could have been me in Lincs!

Not ‘priests socks’ black, I grant you, but a very very very very dark grey.
Only seen one as well, a Turquoise one on the A1 southbound north of Grantham. Not a single one since.

Saw one on Sunday while we were heading back to Lincoln. Moonstone grey with steelies. First one we have seen while having ours as opposed to the one we saw before we picked up the wife's.
I saw one yesterday too, Manganese Grey. I also saw a new Honda NSX in the retail park. A couple of days ago I saw an ID.4 but on the same 2 mile trip there was yet another Lambo SUV and another Maclaren. Admittedly I see the Lambo lots as their little one is at the same school as mine.

That's it, I'm not sure about getting one now. I've just seen a white one... I think I should retitle the thread to Common as Muck 😅😉

Saw a Moonstone Grey one this morning, it's like buses, you wait ages to see one and then you see 3 different ones over 3 days 😁
I saw an escaped Irish plated one today, it was in the Scale Silver and from what I could see, it looked like it had the sports seats with the integrated head rests.

There's another ID3 on the same estate, but otherwise they're rare around here. EVs are rare in general.
When going further afield, I've seen maybe 3 at rapid chargers, but I'm not sure that counts ... spotting an EV at a charger should be easy.

Saw a moonstone grey id3 driving past Cabot circus today, nearly missed it it’s like a chameleon!
There are at least 2 I see in the work car park. Both First Editions, one Moonstone Grey, the other Manganese Grey.
Well, coming back from the school run yesterday on the opposite side of the road was the exact same car as mine, same colour, same 70 plate (it may have been a different trim). I waved to the driver in a “aren’t we clever to have bought the same car” kind of a way and got a wave and a bemused smile back.
I actually saw 6 Id3’s on my return weekend trip from Yorkshire to St Albans!
Might need to change the title to ‘common as muck’!
