I plugged in the car, and waited for the clonk from the contactor in the box, when I noticed that the contactor went on and off continuously with a frequency of approximately 1-2 seconds.
I turned off the box on the breaker behind the glass window, stopped the charging and removed the cable from car and box.
I turned the box on again with the breaker, but the contactor still flip flops at the same frequency. Nothing
at all is connected to it!
It seems that a thunderstorm yesterdat had knocked out the controller relay (ACSE0020). I ordered a new from ecoharmony.co.uk. not same brand but lower cost - hope to get it this tuesday (4 days) till then we use the "Grandma-cable".
Basicly all you need is this controller, a 16 / 32A contactor, face mount receptacle and a box to build it into - and you're rolling
