I'm currently working out a route plan using aaroute planner using the mileage totals to find my next charge point.

I see all kinds of Leaf publicity that say the onbord satnav (Connect) will do route planning and allow me to send it to my Leaf.

In practical terms does this option exist today and is it in a useable format that I can rely on or should I just stick to my own plan with waypoints on my own satnav?

Can anybody help?

Pete

You can plan a route using the Nissan web site and send it to your leaf. It can be a bit of a pain trying to find the downloaded route.

I use Google maps to plan each leg as you can search for charging points from within the app. Just make sure you gather the post code for each stop and use that in the Nissan sat nav. Just make sure the route uses the roads you want as the satnav, depending on its settings may take you a different route.
