Did try that last night, but will try it again but i am not hopeful, anyone know where the fuse for the satnav is ?
satnav screen fault, keeps opening and closing when car is off
Hi folks,
recently the satnav screen has a mind of its own, when car is turned on it's fine, as soon as its turned off, the screen keeps flipping, opening and closing, rang the dealer who said there will be a charge to check it, and if the warranty covers the fault it will be done foc, has anyone came across this or knows if the warranty will cover it. A quick search on google showed me one result of a similar fault and dealer wanted £1000 ! Surely this should be covered as its seems to be a glitch of some sort in the software, all started happening a few days after the car was serviced not sure what to make of it all

Thanks mate, it's booked in for next week, warranty should cover it, but been told I will have to pay to get it checked ! they couldn't even tell me on the phone if the fault was covered by the warranty or not and that they need to check it first
31st July, still have the remainder of warranty just made it, plus there is an extra years cover,
Tried all of the above to no avail, the dealer suggested removing the 20 amp fuse for the sat-nav that obviously sorted the issue but no radio or sat-nav, later on today i put the fuse back and touch wood it seems to be back to normal, will give a few days and see the fault re occurs
