Just like the cat, alive or dead, there seems to be no way to determine if my Soul will charge on the timer.
The last 3 or 4 charges were timed and successful. Then on Sunday it was plugged in same as usual, the car reported "waiting for timed charge" on the screen, the app said waiting for timed charge" ... and it continued waiting well past start time, but started as soon as i sent a start now command so not the cable not being plugged in properly.
Anyone else had a similar experience?

Old thread I know. But I am going through all kinds of forums to see if there's similar issues. In my case it's an e-Niro that sometimes fails to start. It also happens when connected to a charger that is set to initiate charging at night. Car won't start charging but as soon as I connect through the app it starts. There's a handful of owners that have this problem. I believed it was a software issue but am now starting to believe the OBC may be dodgy.

Has yours been fixed?

I eventually gave up with the Souls timer and started using the Wallbox Charger timer. To date thats worked 100%. (may of course regret saying that)
Also has the advantage that if i charge elsewhere I dont have to mess with overriding the timer.
