Seatbelt sensors and seat sensors in back

900 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Jim500
Can anybody tell me if the ID.4 has weight sensors in the back seats? And how are these affected by car seats? Bit worried that when my children aren't in the car the seatbelt alarm will constantly be set off by the seats. But don't want to be plugging the belts in all the time when they're not in

There are sensors, and they aren't affected by car seats.

I've an isofix seat and a seat belt secured seat (obviously being seat belt secured any weight sensor is happy because the belt is inserted). Neither have ever caused seat belt warnings. I've had a person sit between the car seats and the car has recognised an unbelted person there.

It's a non issue.
