Do Hyundai UK and Mercedes UK share offices?
It looks like someone pulled the wrong bit of paper off the printer.

That is bonkers - it wasn't as if it was exactly cheap for the earlier cars.

There is something really weird going on here, bear with me,

Add the cost of the 10k service at £41.27 to the 20k £156.66 and you get £197.93 for the 30k service

Take the 50k at £590.95 and subtract the 40k £549.68 and you get £41,27 the cost of the 10k service.

Take the 60k service at £706.34 and subtract the 40k service at £549.68 and you get £156.66 the cost of the 20k service.

Someone who does not understand spreadsheets has been let loose, The only prices which look there or thereabouts are the 10k and whichever one they do the coolant change at. So I think the 30k & 50k service should be £41.27? The 60k £156.66.
The coolant change at 40k so will be the expensive one.

Are they real prices or a MENSA test?

Wow, that seems to be barking mad prices.

What could they possibly be "servicing " at 40k, 50k and 60k that could justify those prices?

I have just done a quote for mine again, I had done one when purchased., but then told the dealer I would sell the car at 3 years. Not a clue where they got your figures from.
10000 Miles Age at Service:1 Service Date: Jun 2021 £54.56
20000 Miles Age at Service:2 Service Date: Jun 2022 £171.39
30000 Miles Age at Service:3 Service Date: Jun 2023 £57.32
40000 Miles Age at Service:4 Service Date: Jun 2024 £534.49
50000 Miles Age at Service:5 Service Date: Jun 2025 £60.22
Full esensetials service Age at Service:6 Service Date: Jun 2026 £229.00
Total £1106.98 which is about 50% cheaper than your figure.

I suggest that all these prices were keyed in manually for your bespoke situation and whoever did this had not done a one-off before. Good job it was not an actual bill.
Yes just wondering if I should keep quiet, as that amount has been credited to my Servicing account.. Dont know if there is any benefit in having more in the prepaid servicing account than is needed to cover the actual costs. (Better be nice and tell them!)

I have just noticed your quote is for six year service but is actually over a period of three years due to your high mileage. Could this be why the figures are so high? The battery is flushed at 4 years could it be that the next two services are so high because it will need flushing again due to your high mileage?
I am only guessing but like Electra I would assume this is tailor made to your high mileage.

Definitely finger trouble with cumulative amounts instead of individual amounts. Probably best to let them know :)

It would be interesting if others followed this link and compared results to mine and yours.
Dan.
Ours is 14k mikes in, a 2019 car:
20000 Miles/ 2 Year Service £156.57
30000 Miles/ 3 Year Service £75.73
40000 Miles/ 4 Year Service £164.50
A bit more than Stageshoot’s numbers up top, but not the crazy excel newbie efforts for the 2020 model :ROFLMAO:
The thing that hacks me off is that if you want to pay for a service plan, they then add on £1.25 every month as a management fee for the privilege. Feels to me like they should knock some money OFF to thank me for committing to Hyundai for 3 years!
