Noticed that Shell have installed 4x 150kw units at their Norwich Road, Ipswich petrol forecourt. This was part of a recent upgrade to the entire station.
Not working at the time of writing this post, most likely due to DNO connection.
If you tweet them (shellUK) they are usually pretty good at giving an estimation date for commissioning. As you say, the hold up is usually waiting for the DNO to provide the grid connection.
The ones on Cheltenham A40 Shell garage are still covered, 18 months later with 3 "go live dates" been and gone...
I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for them!
