A tethered charge point cable simply isn’t long enough even if it’s tightly coiled for heat to build up sufficiently @ 7kW to cause any issues.
My friend has a taycan and a 22kW charge point he only pays out the cable needed, when he plugs it in.
That’s never melted, I really wouldn’t worry!
