Had a bit of a scratchy head moment earlier, decided to use the preheat function before leaving for home from work, so pressed the lock and then the preheat button on the remote.

The indicators flashed but the sidelights did not come on, where the car was parked was very noisy so I could not hear the tell tale chirps and whines.

Tried several times and got the same result, it was then I noticed I had left the light switch set to "headlights" moved it to "Auto" and the sidelights came on as expected to indicate the preheat.

Now, whilst messing and the light switch set to the "sidelight" selection I noticed that whilst the rear lights were on, there were no forward lights on at all, am I missing something here?
